Always keep your cool & stay safe around dogs!

Things to remember:

 

1. NEVER approach a strange loose dog!

2. NEVER run and scream from a dog!

3. ALWAYS be still (Tree/Rock)

4. ALWAYS ASK the owner for permission to pet.

5. Do not wake a sleeping dog.

6. Do not pet a dog while it is eating or playing with a toy.

7. Do not try to take anything from a dog.

8. Do not tease a dog.

9. Never disturb a dog with puppies.

10. Do not make loud noises around dogs.

11. Never reach through a fence to pet a dog.

12. NEVER try to help a hurt or injured dog.

13. Do not look a dog in the eyes.

14. Do not try to pick up a dog.

15. Do not try to pet a dog that is in a vehicle.

16. Never throw things at a dog.

17. Do not play with a dog without an adult around.

18. Never get between dogs fighting—tell an adult.

19. Do not enter a yard with a dog in it.

20. Always let a dog sniff you before touching him.

21. Report all bites and loose dogs to an adult immediately!
